An app on your own computer that finds what's working in your niche, reads what people are asking for, and hands you ten ranked ideas every morning, with the script one tap away. Built in plain English. No code.
View counts tell you who is big. This number tells you which idea worked. A post that does thirty times what the account's audience should allow is a proven idea, and the same idea in your voice has a real shot.
What the post did
What the account should allow
How far the idea beat the audience
Two rules keep it honest. Posts under 10,000 views never earn a badge and always sort to the bottom. And every follower count is verified, because scrapers get it wrong more often than you'd think.
Scans YouTube, TikTok and Instagram for the posts in your niche that beat the size of the account that posted them. Not the biggest. The most proven.
Pulls the top Reddit threads from your audience's subreddits and mines the comments under viral videos into questions, objections and wishes. That's the demand gap.
Twenty ideas in your voice, scored, and the best ten on your board. Dismiss one, the next slides in. Tap one and it writes the hooks, the script and the caption.
You need two things: Claude Code installed, and a free Apify account, which is a rented scraper you pay a fraction of a cent per post. Then you paste four plain-English prompts, one at a time. They're all below.
Type a topic, pick platforms, get the top posts as cards with the multiplier badge. Every search is saved for a week, so you never pay for the same one twice.
Say whether you're a creator or a business, add your handles, paste anything about you. It pulls your last 30 posts and writes your niche, audience, offer, voice and lanes. What you paste wins over your old posts. Then it finds your subreddits and mines the comments.
A watchlist of accounts in your niche, found from your scans and suggested by Claude, each one checked against the live platform. It tracks their outlier rate and flags breakouts, posts beating their own median by 2x.
Gathers the evidence, writes twenty ideas, scores them, builds the board. Script it writes three hooks, a beat-by-beat script and a caption with no hashtags. Double-click the launcher in the morning and it runs itself.
Open Claude Code in an empty folder and paste prompt one. When it says it's done, paste the next. Read them first: they're the whole method, in English. Put your own Apify token where it says so in prompt one.
Research
Build me a simple web app called Idea Engine that runs on my computer. Handle everything yourself: create the files, and when you're done, start the app and give me the link to open. Plain Node, nothing extra to install, and save everything as files in this folder so nothing is lost when I close it.
Here's what it does. I type a topic and pick platforms: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram. It pulls the 20 most popular recent posts from each and shows me which ones are outliers.
Use Apify to scrape the data. My Apify token is PASTE-YOUR-APIFY-TOKEN-HERE. Keep it in a .env file, never in the page. Use these three scrapers: streamers/youtube-scraper, clockworks/tiktok-scraper, and apify/instagram-scraper. Check each scraper's current input settings from Apify's API, then run one small test call per platform and fix anything that comes back empty before you build on it. Three things to know: the YouTube scraper returns nothing unless you set the number of results. Instagram posts don't include follower counts, so make a second small call to get them. TikTok captions come back with escaped characters, so decode them.
Score every post: views divided by the creator's followers. That's the multiplier. Only posts with 10,000 or more views get a badge, and smaller posts always sort to the bottom. Save every search for a week so I never pay for the same one twice.
Show the results as cards: thumbnail, title, creator, followers, views, and a big multiplier badge. Sort by multiplier, with options for newest and most engaged. Clicking a card opens the post.
Design: dark background, one accent color used only for the multiplier, numbers in a monospace font, no gradients, no emoji. Make it look like a real product.
My DNA, Conversations, Mine comments
Keep everything working and add a screen called My DNA.
On it, I say whether I'm a creator, or a brand/business. I can enter my YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok handles, all optional. And there's a big text box where I paste anything else about me: my website, my About page, what I sell, who it's for.
When I click Build my DNA: use the same three scrapers to pull my 30 most recent posts from each account I gave you, and work out my median views. Then ask Claude to write my DNA: my niche, my audience, my offer, my voice, the three to five lanes I post in, things to avoid, my top five posts and why they worked, eight search phrases and six Instagram hashtags for my niche, and seven subreddits where my audience hangs out. One rule: what I paste is my direction, my old posts are history. If they disagree, what I paste wins. If I gave no accounts, build it from the text alone. To ask Claude anything, run the claude command in headless mode from the app. I already have Claude Code, so no extra key is needed. Show the DNA as a clean sheet with a Rebuild button.
Then on the search screen, add a button called Scan my niche that searches all my DNA phrases at once and combines the results. Add a panel called Conversations that pulls the top Reddit threads of the week from my subreddits using the Apify scraper harshmaur/reddit-scraper, ranked by upvotes relative to the size of the subreddit. And add a Mine comments button on every video card that pulls the top 50 comments with the matching Apify comment scraper and has Claude sort them into questions, objections, and things people wish existed. Test each new scraper with one small call first, same as before.
Same design rules as before.
Creators + Breakouts
Keep everything working and add a screen called Creators. This is my watchlist of accounts in my niche.
Find accounts three ways. First, from my scans: any creator who shows up in my niche scan with a post above 3x, ranked by how many of those they have. Second, ask Claude, using my DNA, to suggest ten accounts in my niche across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram, then verify each one with one small scrape before showing it, and drop any that don't exist. Third, when you pull an Instagram profile it comes with a list of similar accounts; show those as suggestions too.
Show suggestions in a list with an Add button and one line on why each one is relevant to me. When I add a creator, pull their 30 most recent posts with the same scrapers and show a row for them: handle and platform, followers, median views, how often they post, their outlier rate, meaning the share of recent posts above 3x their own median, their best post in the last 30 days with its multiplier and a link, and the one-line why. Buttons: Refresh and Remove. Refresh no more than once a week per creator unless I ask. Sort the list by outlier rate.
Any watched creator's post that beats their own median by 2x in the last three weeks is a breakout. Show breakouts in a strip at the top of the Research screen called Breakouts.
Same design rules as before.
The brain, the scripts, the morning brief
Keep everything working and add the brain: a screen called Today. Make it the home screen.
It has one button: Run today's ideas. When I click it, gather the evidence: the top 25 posts from my niche scan, breakouts from my watched creators, the top 10 Reddit threads, all the mined comments, and my own posts that beat my median by two times in the last 60 days. Number them so ideas can point back at them.
Ask Claude to write 20 ideas for me. Each idea has a title, a hook, a type, a source, one line on why now, and which piece of evidence sparked it. The types are: how-to, toolkit, story, show don't tell, contrarian, versus, entertain, inspire, news, and answer the comments. The sources are: original, remix, trend fit, and demand gap. Rules: write for me, in my voice, in my lanes. If I'm a brand or a business, the ideas have to bring people toward my offer, not just get views. If my version could be mistaken for the source's video, throw it out. Don't repeat anything from the last three days or anything I've dismissed.
Then ask Claude to score every idea from 1 to 10 on three things. Stop: would a stranger stop scrolling. Payoff: does it deliver what the hook promises. Fit: is this credibly me. Drop anything under 6 on any score. Rank by total. Put the top 10 on the board, with no more than 3 of one type and at least one of each source. The rest are the bench.
Show the ten as cards with the type, the source, the three scores, and a link to what sparked it. Dismiss removes a card and brings up the next one from the bench. Script it opens a panel where Claude writes three hooks, a beat-by-beat script with what's on screen, what I say, and any on-screen text, a caption with no hashtags, and a list of anything I should double-check. The script must contain the actual answer it promises. Write the steps, never "walk through the steps." Save scripts to disk.
Last thing. When I open the app in the morning and today's ideas don't exist yet, run them automatically. Give me a double-click launcher and a short plain-English README.
If a scraper trips Claude Code, add one plain sentence to the prompt saying what came back empty. Never a file.
The launcher opens the app. Today's ideas don't exist yet, so it runs them.
Top scan posts, breakouts, Reddit threads, mined comments, your own hits. Numbered.
Each with type, source, three scores and a link to what sparked it.
The next best from the bench slide in. Dismissed ideas never come back.
Hooks, beats, caption, and a list of things to double-check. Saved to a file.
Every idea is scored from 1 to 10 three ways. Anything under 6 on any score is dropped, along with anything that could be mistaken for the video that sparked it.
The hook has to earn the first second from someone who has never heard of you.
No bait. The video has to contain the actual answer.
Your voice, your lanes. If you're a business, it has to bring people toward your offer.
The board never holds more than three of one type, and always has at least one of each source. So you never wake up to ten how-tos.
The Claude Pro plan. Claude Code is included, so every idea, score and script runs on the plan, not per call.
The free plan gives you $5 a month in credits, no card. A full niche scan is about $2 and is saved for a week, so you never pay for the same search twice.
Prices as of September 2026, from claude.com and apify.com. Scan cost measured from real runs.
YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, newsletters, communities. You tell it your lanes and your voice, and it keeps you posting without staring at a blank page.
Switch it to business mode and every idea has to bring people toward your offer, not just get views. Works with no social accounts at all, from your website and what you sell.
The prompts are yours. The campus is where you build it with a group, get the one-paste version, and show your board to people who will tell you the truth.
